Hi
Just a quick question, please..
Does one send original p60s to Revenue with forms, ie med1 etc?
Thanks in advance.

MED1 does not require P60 as far as I recall. Some other forms and claims may in which case you send a photocopy. Why don't you do your MED1 online?

Hi Clubman
Thanks for reply.
Actually I am kind of trying to cover a dim moment I am having.
I have p60 from yr 06 downstairs, plus all other p60s except for 05.
I cannot remember if I sent this to Revenue, med 1 done before Christmas (awaiting activation code for online privileges), in paper.
I know I sent p60 for 06 original, got it back.
Year O5 I can't recall sending it or if so, it is not back yet.
But was assessed for refund for 05, Is it possible that they assessed for 05 without p60?
Reason I am asking; now doing stuff for 04 and wondering if it ok to send original p60??

You're safer sending a photocopy. They don't need the original. Revenue can sometimes also do P21 balancing statements leading to notifications of refunds or underpaid tax without asking for P60 which could have happened in 2005? As ever it's up to you to make sure that everything is present, correct and up to date. Don't assume that the employer or Revenue will always make this so.

Thanking You Clubman, for that info.
I suspect that is what happened for 05?
The more you learn the less you know!
Thanks again.
