When should you get your P60?? As far as I know it is start of Feb, still haven't received mine. Does this mean the company is not paying tax and if so what implications would this have for me?

Thanks

the company would have filed a p35 which contains the p60 information by mid feb. just ask your company for it now. no reason not to give it to you now. no implications at present.

could also ring revenue and ask what gross/tax was returned for you for 2008.(third part confirmation it is filed)

Ok someone was let go in our office, they asked for their P45 and P60, no problem with the P45 but there was a bit of humming and hawing about the P60. They checked it out and PRSI has not been paid.

First question is what happens if I get let go and they haven't paid the PRSI and I look for unemployment benefit??
Secondly is there any other way this could affect me and what does this mean for the company?

Thanks

SW/Revenue will follow up any defaulters for PRSI/PAYE and you should not lose out in meantime. SW will give you 'credited' contributions based on a sdiogned statement from you in order that you can claim benefits. Then they will chase employer for actual payment of these.

As long as the company files the paperwork with the correct paye/prsi(Even if they do not pay it over) you would be ok to claim unemployment benefit. The employee has done nothing wrong

Unemployment benefit i think would be assessed on 2007 year

Another question for ye, I just saw the post on getting back the health levy if you earned less than 26,000 in 2008 which I did but you need your P60. Now if I can't get this off the company I am working for is there anything I can do?

Thanks again
