One of my friends has been working in a restaurant which recently closed down (he suspects the owner went bust). So he lost his job but has not received a P45 or even a P60. The owner cannot be contacted and there are rumours he has left the country. Social Welfare cannot be processed without a P45 so does anyone know what can be done in this situation?
