P45 DATE

Hello,

I was laid off and will hopefully secure a new position soon.
Im wondering if I can tell my new employer Im working notice and maybe take a small holiday. Im thinking of the date on p45 and possible consequences of this?

You don't need to give new employer your P45.( tell them you lost it if they ask)
Ask the tax office to issue tax credits certificate directly to the new employer.
