P30 payment, Monthly or Quarterly

Hi my wife does the accounts for a small restaurant.
She is just asking the question of "which would be better, paying the P30 monthly or quarterly ?
Is there any significanence in paying it quarterly rather that monthly ?

Isn't it Revenue that decides? They usually ask new businesses to make a monthly return for the first year, then allow quarterly returns.
If the business wants to stay on monthly for cashflow reasons, they can request it. It's slightly more hassle (though not much when returns are payments are made through Ros) but easier to come up with a lower amount every month, than a huge lump sum quarterly.
