P21 Balancing statement

Registered for PAYE anytime to add rent relief, but also requested P21's for 07/08.

The 07 statement makes no sense to me, can someone explain why I owe tax, rather than being owed? Ta!

hi look at panel 2 and see what the amount is of €499.89 as this seems to be deducted from your tax credits. and also look at your tax credits as your entitle to either the single or married allowance, paye tax credit, medical expenses and service charges,
 
I see. It has Tax Deducted, under Self (499.89).

In brackets would seem to indicate I was paid back 499.89 tax.

In july of that year I was paid a months wages in a fortnightly payslip at emergency tax, so it ended up being €499.89. Rang revenue, and it was refunded the next payslip. Unfortunately it seems to have messed up their records.
 
If you put up next page of assessment you would get a more accurate reply. Are you married?

Besides opening a new thread i would like to ask a question. I got my p21 this morning and they owe me 230 euros. When will i get this ? days, weeks, months ?
