overseas holiday not too long a flight from London last week of May

We would like to go somewhere other than Ireland or the UK ! for the last week of May (it will be mid term break in UK).

Anyone have any ideas please as to somewhere we could go that falls somewhere within the following criteria ! :

good value for money
not more than 3 hours flight time
child friendly, things to do (ages 9 and 8)
near a nice sandy beach
not more than 75 degrees
decent restaurants
not full of rowdy teenys
safe to go out with kids until 10.30pm

Am I been too picky ?

West coast of France near Royan - I go to La Palmyre - gorgeous sandy beaches, lots of child friendly beaches, reaosnable temperatures, lots of child friendly stuff - direct flights to La Rochelle from both Dublin and Standsted - just one hour.
