Overnighting near Charleroi Airport

Has anyone ever stayed near Charleroi Airport? I'm using it to bridge 2 cheap flights with Ryanair but will need to overnight. Any recommendations?
 
There is a list of local hotels in the airport. I haven’t stayed in any but there is an Ibis hotel (Ibis Charleroi Airport) about 5k away.
 
There are a few hotels in Charleroi city centre itself. There is a bus every 15 mins to the city centre. The town is old and industrial but the hotels are fine and cheap enough. I would recomend the IBIS. at least if your in the town there are restaurants etc - there is even an Irish bar.
 
There's a supercheap formula1 a couple of minutes taxi ride away from the airport. (€34 per night)

It's not luxury but if you only have a few hours to kill and are on a budget it's fairly handy.
