My father recently passed away. He had money in severl countries from overseas lotteries. He left no papers or they were stolen. How can we find out what accounts he had overseas?
to win the lotto once is a rare occasion, to win it several times is unbelievable. You will need to write to the banks inthe countries in which he had the money and ask them if they can trace accounts.
Alternatively, if you were to approach REVENUE for advice, they migth be able to assist, as there may be taxes due here on the interest received on the accounts.
