Looking to check out some good outdoor gear in particular some gillets.
Other than the great out doors (Chatam st), the North Face shop, the likes of arnett, clearys and 55 degree north in Blanchardstown is there any other specialist stores that would stock this type of gear,

Happy 10 Years,

Try the camping shops on Mary St and Capel St - far better value than Great Outdoors. It's possible that somewhere like Kildare Village might have some North Face-type stuff. Compare online as the outdoor gear in the US is far cheaper and with the dollar as it is, you could get good value, even with delivery.

Also 53 degrees north in Carrickmines, Can be expensive - but if you time it right there can be some good bargains. Outdoor Adventure Centre in Liffey Street too.

I meant 53 degrees north - that was a typo.
Water sprite we get the gear on line usually but it's just to try the stuff on before we buy.

Thanks for those suggestions.

Depending on the time of year you can pick up outdoor gear at TKMax for good prices. As usual it involves digging through the racks, but there's usually something.

Kildare Village has a Northface shop - at least 30% off everything but sometimes you can get "seconds" at 60% off. - And by seconds, I mean something with a single thread out of place or otehr such minor fault. Also in kildare you havee tog24 - mid priced stuff.
