Was just wondering if anyone has used www.otel.com

Mrs boaber booked a hotel for her Uncle today. The booking has been confirmed, but they say that she now has to fill in her credit card details in an authorisation form and fax/email it back to them. They also want a photocopy of a picture ID and a copy of the front and back of her credit card?

I've never come across these kind of requests on any other hotel booking site.

Anyone know why they need this and if it is safe to email the stuff to them? I emailed them about 5 hours ago with the same queries but have not received a reply back yet.

Made the same mistake myself. It's not until the booking is confirmed that they tell you that they need the fax of your personal details. The deal I got was so good I just went ahead and faxed everything and there was no problem.
