Anyone got recommendations for good hotels in Oslo...stayin there on the 31st Jan for one night on way to dog sledding trip and on the 7th feb on way back..lookin for something not to pricy near the nightlife...Cheers
I stayed at the "City Hotel Oslo" last year. Basic place, private bath on the corridor - but very central location and, given Oslo's steep prices, very affordable. If it is not multi-star comfort you are looking for, I recommend the City Hotel.
About a year and half ago I stayed in Hotel Carlton Oslo. (Parkveien 78, Oslo, Norge, Norway). Think it was about €90 a night but it was the cheapest I could find at the time. Average enough hotel but was clean and short walk to centre.
