Hi there, I had my oral hearing today, am just wondering, how long will it take for them to make their decision. . I.asked today but they weren't very helpful . .
 
Apologies, it was for carers benefit, I appealed same as I was refused based on not enough information given initially... It seemed to go ok today, but they were not very forthcoming with information regarding a decision, which I understand totally, I'm just asking if anyone was in a similar position, did it take days/ weeks/ months?
 
Hi Grass,

I had kinda similar interview but for Carers Allowance- it is standard to have interview for the allowance- I got my payment a week later..

If you don’t hear back within 2 weeks I would contact local carers association and they will email the unit for you.
 
Got letter yesterday to say appeal was approved, so probably have to wait now another few weeks. .
