Opting out of Selling Home

My house is currently on the market with a large national selling agency. I am not receiving the kind of offers I would like. it's been on the market since last September. I'd like to take it off the market now. Where do I stand with the agent? Do I owe them anything? Can't have this conversation with the agent right now for obvious reasons.

nothing about take the house off the market. can i name the selling agent here or not?
 
I presume you'll just have to pay for the advertising - signage, adverts on daft and myhome which could cost a few hundred. I know I paid €250 for this last year but presume it will differ from agent to agent.
