Opinions On Advent Laptop

I would like To know what opinion anyone on here would have on an Advent laptop with the following spec.
1.46GHz Intel Pentium Dual-Core T2310 processor
2048MB ram
120GB hard drive
Dual Layer DVD rewriter Multi Drive
15.4" widescreen display
Vista home premium
Its priced at 580 euro in PC World.

All opions welcome
 
At a glance, I'd say it looks good given that it has 2GB of RAM, which you will find you will probably need with Vista Home Premium.

What about graphics?
Wireless capability?
 
I recently was doing research into a new laptop and found out that Advent is the brand name for the Currys/Dixons group own brand of laptops.

They don't have great reputations, with lots of poor customer reviews.

Tread carefully.
 
I wouldn't go for advent myself. I prefer a machine with a better screen like a Sony. Peats/;Sony are doing the Sony VGN-NR10ES for €799

Maybe thats beyond your budget though.
