Has anybody any experience of the Boqueria tapas bar on Bridge street in Cork city?

Atmosphere?

Food?

Value?

I love the tapas that I've experienced in Girona, Barcelona, etc. - how would it compare?

atmosphere when I called was quiet, ie little if any. portions are small but nice and wine is excellent.

Atmosphere - great, food - excellent, value - well, not as good as Barcelona, Girona etc. but as Irish prices go, not bad. Gets very busy at weekends. Quite cramped but this adds to the atmosphere to a certain extent. Definitely gets my vote.

I go there regularly for coffee during the day and really like it. Nice atmosphere. Staff very friendly - they put a square of chocolate on top of the cappucino which melts into it and is lovely. They do really nice soup during the day but I've only eaten there once at night and thought it was quite expensive for what you got - but what you get is nice.
