Opening A UK Bank Account

I have an apartment in the UK, it is rented to a Tenant. I have a mortgage with an Irish bank and the rent and mortgage is lodged to an Irish Account. I would like to open a UK Account, does anyone know how to go about doing this and what would be the best bank to approach?
