You cant register for Open 24 unless you allready have an account. He could open a 21 day regular saver and stick a euro a month into it but this account won't give him Open 24 access. Is there any other workaround apart from opening a current account.

P pudds Registered User Messages 1,746 8 May 2014 #4 He opened a Demand Deposit today and now has access to Open24 and able to apply for an Instant Access Account. Would he be permitted to do this without passing any money through the Demand Deposit a/c first or ever. Dont want him to get locked out or in trouble.
