opening a bank account with bad credit

Hi all,

I have a poor credit history that days back over 3 years due to a failed business.
I had an account with post bank, and they closed. I then opened an account with Danske bank and now see they are closing.

I have been refused a basic account with bol and ulster bank.
I am just looking for basic facilities where I can lodge money and pay bills.
Is there any banking facility where I can do this?

I have been refused by the above banks due to my poor credit history.

I really need an account, is there any bank they will open one with my poor credit history.?? Is there any on-line options?

I am desperate.

Have you considered your local credit union? It should be able to provide you with an account to do those specific tasks - and generally they have quite a bit of experience dealing with cases where people have a poor credit history.
