Going to be purchasing a new van in the next week or so and have narrowed it down to either of the two above. Both LWB versions, they both are 2L.

Primastar is slightly more expensive at €19400 ish compared to the Opel's €18500 ish.

Any opinions?

No difference they are basically the same van with different badges.

Same as the renault Trafic, just go for whoever gives the best deal.

Be aware though in 2 years the van will be worth less than half whay you pay.

There are vans going for a song in all the auctions, do you really need new?

You could be right Frank, Might drop down the years. Auctions aren't an option for me though as I will need some sort of warrenty.

I didn't mind spending alot as the van is for me, i will pass on my own van to one of my staff, and scrap/sell the oldest one.

I would keep an eye out for delivery mileage 09's so should be a bit of warranty to be had there.

I bet there are a few hogging space for delaers.

You can afford to be real cheeky in negotiations if you are not trading in.

yeah i'd agree with frank as well on the price and dropping down the years rather than buying new. ive an 07 opel vivaro paid a little over 20k for it,new, LWB great van etc but again ive seen 08 vans with V little mileage for 10k and dont forget if lads arent doing much work a 2 or 3 year old van would'nt have gotten the abuse that it would have in the boom when lads were a lot busier
