I've received a few quotes from house moving companies and they range from 600-1100 with no packing service, just moving from A to B. I came across anyvan.ie which is a website where you put your job up and individuals who have registered with them quote you for the job. They are coming back with 200 euro and less for 2 men and a van, the site says they have insurance, shows how many jobs they have done in the past and a feedback rating etc. has anyone ever used this site? Are they reputable, reliable, trustworthy?
Our move is quite basic we will have everything packed, won't need any assembly etc. Obviously you need a van and two guys I don't see where the massive difference in price is

I engaged a mover through anyvan.ie Dublin78 and I found the service excellent. It included help with taking apart a bed as it happened, though I did most of the packing myself. My father also put up a job there (quite a big job but over a short distance with a lot of dismantling furniture, packing and reassembly etc) and again - excellent service at a super price. I'd definitely say, go for it. There should be recommendations available for anyone you choose, peruse those as well as looking at the headline figures. Give as much detail as possible about what you want moved to get the best quote.

According to the guy I was talking to, they tend to look for jobs they can include with a standard delivery schedule (so for example, empty van returning so why not offer the space to someone along the route) so you are being environmentally friendly too, the van has to travel anyway so you making use of that journey means one less empty box travelling the roads!
