I saw the same add , and reported same , it really was too good to be true , just out of interest I loaded up the cart and went to check out and my browser asked me to translate all from Chinese , a sure sign the site was fake . It was very convincing and you can see how the willing are caught out .This was advertised on Facebook (won't post the link, it's LIDL Fitness shop). It's selling fitness equipment from LIDL at amazing prices.
According to LIDL Irelands twitter account, LIDL don't sell on line. I've sent them the link. I believe it's a scam.
Not related but can relate, have bought from RPM, good to deal with.Related but unrelated - if anybody wants to buy fitness stuff I highly recommend RPM Fitness in Tipperary.
Irish company, great product range and prices etc, have bought some stuff from them over the years, they offer Klarna finance too
Absolutely not related, just a returning customer. I meant related to fitness but not scam Lidl posts, not related to the business.Your name suggests you're related
Why would they? Their remit does not cover misinformation.hope our EU Data Protection Watchdogs are taking note
This entire thread confirms that this is already the case and that so-called "fact checkers" are poorly equipped at countering social media scammers.Checks and Balances getting removed from Facebook in the USA , it will be like the Wild West for scammers , hope our EU Data Protection Watchdogs are taking note
Meta shelves fact-checking programme in US
Meta is ending its fact-checking programme in the US and replacing it with a "Community Notes" system similar to that on Elon Musk-owned X, the Facebook parent said today.www.rte.ie
