I have until the end of the year to transfer my share portfolio from my current provider to another due to leaving my current employment in the next month. I am looking at setting up an online broker account. I have no intention of trading or selling in the short or medium term and I am happy to just transfer and hold on to what I have.
Does anyone use any of the online brokers for this (e.g. Degiro, Interactive Brokers) and can anybody give an indication of what the fees would be (if any) for just holding these positions? I am aware that there may be fees for transferring the portfolio as well. Thanks
