Only a couple of days ago I was on a job with my mate G.
Things were ok for the first 10 minutes when we got the gear out and the scaffold erected. Then it started to rain, so we went to get back in the van to discover the keys were not on either of us.
They were in the van on the passenger side and the van was locked.
We spent the next couple of hours trying to get the keys by bending the door so we could catch the keys.
No luck.
So I decided to call lunch time.
G goes to shop to get 2 sandwiches 2 coffees and a bag of crisps and I carry on working.
He comes back and puts the bag on top of a bin (new clean bin I may add).
I grabbed the bag not realising it was the bottom of the bag and all our lunch ended up in a bucket of water which was beside the bin.
The key guy called at about 3 that afternoon as soon as he finished we packed up and went home
We both spent the next hour and a half laughing at the pure bad fortune of the day.
I was still laughing that night when I got home.
Anybody else have bad days like this.
