hi im heading over to carling cup semi final in january with nephew.it's our first time. can anyone tell me the closest hotel to old trafford

Trafford Park Hotel is very close.

Hav'nt stayed there though.

Any of the Britannia hotels in the city centre are just a tram ride away from old trafford. Quite cheap too.

Ramada Salford Quays - in OT once - stayed at this place - nice/clean and c. 5 mins walk from OT. Also across the road from the Tramline.

Premier Inn Old Trafford, 1 minute walk from the door of the hotel to Old Trafford.
