Hi

How do you dump an old fridge & washing machine - is it ok to put in skip?

Ive already received my replacements but how does that recycling fund work, can I bring them back to where I bought the new appliances and do they have to take them?

Yes you can bring them back to where you bought the new appliances, and they have to accept them back, like for like, one for one. Alternatively, A retailer may, with the permission of their local authority, put in place alternative arrangements for take-back. This alternative must not be less convenient for the customer than returning the waste to the shop when buying a new product.
Mind you, I would perhaps phone them before you arrive on the doorstep clutching some large used white goods!
