Old Desk

We need to get rid of an old desk (quite big) which is taking up alot of room in parent's house and not being used! It is in a room downstairs which could be used a bedroom but this is in the way and no place for a bed as well. Its the old style desk so pointless trying to sell as no one interested - cannot give it away! Have tried Oxfam and a few places but no one wants it. Does anyone know of anyone or anywhere that would take it off our hands. Our only option looks like breaking it up and disposing of in a skip which we are very reluctant to do. Any ideas???
