Oil tank issues

Can I ask if anyone knows how to deal with my heating problem?
Electricity was off for two days we turned on the heating which is oil heating so the smoke pumped out for about 10 mins then it just stopped pumping the smoke outside as normal and when we touch the heater there is no heat coming from them, the house is freezing.

The burner could be on lockout. Is there a small red or orange light showing on the burner?

If so press this light. It is actually a reset button.

If this is not the problem. There might be a fuse blown or trip switch operated. Is the circulating pump running ?

Can't get to make or model, but it's an outside oil tank and the smoke is going out when switched on from inside the house nothing is going through to the heaters I've bleed both heater and tank and reset it but still no change but when the oil is switched on the inside of the boiler is very hot,is the circulating pump outside we're the smoke comes out?.. oh yes the button will not go on at all.

If your oil tank is smoking you've got bigger problems! The boiler and tank are never co-located.

Perhaps post some picture and someone may recognise the model and direct you accordingly, but to be honest, you may be better off getting someone qualified to take a look. Especially considering:

is the circulating pump outside we're the smoke comes out?.
The circulation pump will be in line with the heating pipework.
