Recently I have noticed a slight leak under my car and wonder what would cause it and any idea what it would cost to get fixed?

Its impossible to say without more information or maybe even looking at it. It could be a leak from the sump, the oil light switch, the rocker cover amongst other things. What make, age of car is it?

Its a 00 clio and was fully serviced 5 months ago.

Could simply be sealing washer of the oil sump drain plug. Would cost almost nothing to fix.

Invoice To Foxylady:
Parts: - Sealing washer €0.50c

Labour €40.00

Vat: €5.46

Total; €45.96 or almost nothing whichever is the highest

I can beat that quote:

Parts: - Sealing washer €0.00c
Oil €30.00c (which tends to drain out when sump-plug pulled)

Labour €30.00c

Vat @ 13.5% : €8.10

Total; €68.10c

FoxyLady - its almost impossible to know where the leak is originating from without examing the car. It might be a lot of things, but only an examination is likely to pinpoint it and fix it.

A quick call to your mechanic / garage would help.

Well its on the drivers side and its a brown colour and its not leaking large amounts.
