Just got a balancing statement, following a claim for medical expenses. The (approximate) relief due is listed in Panel 7B of the balancing statement as "offset out". I haven't received a cheque either. Can anyone elucidate?
On further examination it appears to mean that Revenue are offsetting the overpayment against possible liabilities from a different year. Presumably when a balancing statement issues for that year I will receive the cheque.
