If somebody is asked for official certified examination transcripts (Eg. Leaving Certificate) to accompany an application, and their original examination college is geographically distant, how do they go about it?
They have the original certs, but naturally don't want to send them with an application. Is it a Peace Commissioner that stamps or what?
Vaguely remember applying for a masters abroad some years ago ( didn't do it in end) and I had to have various exam results certified by both Department of Education ( I think) and that countries embassy in Ireland- could similar apply?
You can apply for a statement of your results from the . You should also be able to write to a third level college and ask for a transcript of your results. If you have transcripts, it should be sufficient to get a commisioner for oaths to provide you with a certified copy (i.e. a copy with "I hereby declare this to be a true copy of the original" etc.)
