It would depend.
Why is it up for sale? If it's such a gold mine why is it being sold?
Where is the nearest competition? If there's a supermarket within 10 miles I wouldn't bother, or even a large Centra/Supervalu/Spar, they tend to sell booze as a loss leader to get people into the shop.
I've seen a number of offies closing lately so I would think it's not the greatest business to get into.
By the way, margins are worthless if you're not doing the volume.
