Hello,
Iwas self employed for a period in 2002 while waiting for my company to become registered. As such I made a return for that period last year. Since then I have been an employee of my company. This is my sole source of income.
So my question is : should I have made a reurn for Oct 31?

If you are a company director then you are subject to self assessment and must file a return even if all your income is subject to PAYE
