has anyone been to the costa de sol or menorce/majorca/ibiza in late october early november? What the weather like ? Any resort/property recommendations?
Lucky enough to get €56 return flights to Faro for two for next October and a one bed apartment in Lagos/Portugal for €300 for a week. The €56 flights are gone but in early November you can still pick up flights for €124 to Faro excluding cc charge. Would you consider Portugal?
Malaga is coming in a bit more expensive at €146. Apartments in Marbella can be picked up for a similar amount of money. We were in Benalmadena a couple of years back in November and were sitting out on our balcony enjoying the sun.
Weather should be just right.
Went to Majorca in October some years ago. The weather was good, but the atmosphere wasn't. There was a real end of season atmosphere about the place, like all the restaurateurs and bar owners were just dying to close up shop for the winter.
Am going away this October but have picked the Canaries instead
Late Oct/early Nov would be a hit and miss time for mainland Spain for weather to be honest. Only the Canaries could really offer the guarantee of good weather at that time.
Having said that, it might be roasting. Just a chance you will have to take.
