Occupational Pension Scheme / self administered pension scheme

Hi,

I have an occupational pension scheme which both me and my employer contribute into the scheme. The scheme is run through Bank of Ireland and funds are invested in equities. I would like to invest in some property for the long term and use my current pension funds towards this. Can you let me know the best way of doing this,

Currently the way the scheme is set up you will not be able to borrow. You will have to split the scheme into two and set up single member schemes.
