Obtaining license again after driving disqualification?

My son who is 23 was disqualified from holding his license over 2 years ago for 2 years,as his time is up he was wondering how he would get it back. He sent it to the court clerk for endorsement when he was disqualified, does he have to apply for it? or who will he ask or will it come back automatically?,

He just has to go in to the District Court Clerk's office and ask for it. I'm not sure if they would send it out to him, he could always ring and ask.

Thanks for advice, contacted court clerks office and was told that they don't keep license's that they send them back to motor tax office for keeping, got in touch and they sent out license no hassle He is delighted to have it back.
