Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if any of the DIY stores in Dublin do an OAP discount anymore?
I know Atlantic used to do one years ago... though I'm not sure if this is the case anymore.
Was going to make a big purchase in B & Q and thought I'd check before I did.

Are these discounts usually for the over 60s or 65s?

I'm sure my parents still go to Atlantic Homecare in the Blanchardstown S.C on Thursdays for the OAP discount, and its over 65's as far as I know.

I think 4Home do it on a Friday ... not sure of locations though.

I'm pretty sure they all do this, availability is generally limited to one day a week though.

Woodies on Thursdays - NOt sure if that is all branches - I think its 10% off or something..

B&Q has a "diamond card" - valid only on Wednesdays for 10% and as above Woodies definitely on a Thursday.

Don't have to be OAP for either Woodies or B&Q. Over 60 is the criterion.
