I thinking of getting the O2 mobile broadband.
States speeds of 3.6Mbps, as far as I know it will run at somewhere between 1.8 & 2.2 Mbps.
This is fine for me but what if someone else wants to use it at the same time?
Can a USB hub be used to split the incoming broadand signal so it can be used by 2 people on 2 different laptops at the same time?
Anyone's feedback who has any experience using this configuration sucessfully would be greatly appreciated.
I have vodafone 3G with data connect card combined with a linksys wireless 3g router. This works fine. I doubt these USB modems will work directly with any router though.
with o2 and three they install a program, very simple all you have to do is press a button that says connect however if u plug it directly into a router it wont work as you cant use the program,
am thinking of getting o2 broadband for my mac laptop.
anyone know if i can attach airport express to the usb modem and then operate wirelessly (and without the ugly modem hanging off the laptop)?
