It'll probably look the same after the 19 weeks. Yet another waste of hard earned public money. No doubt they'll be increasing road tax to pay for it as well.

However, what's the problem with its closure? What things can you do in person at a motor tax office that you can't do on the net or by post?

Thats a good arguement for making the closure permanent, There are lots of other government departments that could squander the few million saved.
