Ntl versus Sky digi

Just wanted some opinions, I have ntl and also have sky digital, I now want to get rid of one of them.
Was going to get rid of sky digital as my mam has the actual ntl digital, but now I am not that impressed with that as it seems to go off a lot, so am now considering keeping the sky digital and telling ntl to take a hike, as I am realistically only really paying to have Itv, and Channel 4 as all the other stations are on the digital, just want to know can you get itv, and channel 4 someway on the sky digital?

i think you can get itv by sticking an old uk viewing card into your digibox. these apparently can pick up itv as a free channel as sky have an agreement to broadcast itv within the uk. as this agreement does not cover ireland, irish cards dont have it enabled . i dont have sky myself so dont know much else about it.
