NTL clock an hour behind

Is anyone else's NTL clock an hour slow? And how can this be so?

Sounds like something may be using GMT/UTC time and not taking cognizance of Irish daylight saving which puts us an hour ahead of GMT/UTC right now - at least until later in October when the clocks go back. If this is in relation to an NTL receiver box then perhaps there is a daylight saving option that needs to be enabled locally?

This often happens - just plug out ntl box from mains for 30 seconds or so and plug back in and it should correct itself.

Mrs Simeon watching Two and a Half Men at 00.08 ......... telly goes out, all dark for a minute or so. Then comes back on. Everything, including clock OK. Ahhhhh! The power of AAM!

Must try resetting with my NTL equioment! I just assumed that they were getting ready for the autumn clock adjustment...:)

Mine is the same... will try to unplug it and see if that sorts it out!

Thanks!

Or you could do a 'soft boot'.

Press the Help button on the ntl remote.
Press the Yellow button and the whole thing reloads.

I tend to do this each day, if only to get the EPG to refresh.

The clock being an hour out happens to me every now and then. At least it is consistently an hour out (i.e. the EPG start times are also wrong) so auto tune for programme recording is not affected.
