NPPR - when to pay ?

I'm confused.

If you buy a NPPR do you start paying the tax from the start of the next NPPR tax period or from the day you bought the property and if so how is it calculated ?

hi Wahaay...

You pay €200 within three months of the liability date -31st March - not when you bought the place.

Liability date means you are liable to pay the fee on any NPPR you owned actually on that date .

This is the last time NPPR will be charged.
 
But,sadly, Wahaay this year, 2013, you will pay the NPPR plus half the annual property tax on your NPPRs (as well, of course, half the annual property tax on your PR).
