Notifying state of intention to marry

Does anyone know if there's a serious delay in getting appointments for registrars office for the purpose of a marriage notification.

They're not answering their phones or returning calls so how are you supposed to get an appointment? I'm trying to book a wedding but haven't been able to get through to make an appointment for last few days. There is only one office listed for Dublin on their website. Does anyone know of another office in Dublin and have contact details for it?

My Fiancé got through (on about his 100) attempt, they are apparently very busy at the moment and the earliest appointment we could get is the beginning of April but they have to ring us back at the end of the week with a date.

You can visit any registrar anywhere in the country is does not have to be where you are from - find the one nearest to you with the shortist waiting list some can have lists months long while other might only be a couple of weeks.

You need to do this at least 3months prior to marrage.
