Notice 3 day week, then redundanct

Hello, I've been given notice by my employer that I am going on a 3 day week from next week and will be finishing up my contract completely in 4 weeks time.

I've done some searches on citizens information etc and I'm a bit confused. I'm not sure if I should be applying for SWA, or Job seekers benefit/allowance.

Also I have a mortgage but one of my parents is a guarantor. Will this mean i won't qualify for MIS?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
 
You should read the keypost at top of this forum. As soon as you are put on a 3-day week, go to your local SW office and sign on to claim Jobseeker's Benefit.
