I am currently selling an apartment in Budapest. The apartment is in my wife's name but she cant travel due to being pregnant.Does anybody know a good notary around district ix.

Does it not make more sense to sign a POA at the Hungarian embassy in Dublin 2, which would give you the right to sign a sale contract on her behalf? Your Hungarian lawyer would be able to provide the necessary document to be signed.

If you do in fact need a notary in District IX, then: Dr. Viktor Máté, Ráday utca 34, Tel: 0036-1-476-0270, Email: mateviktor@mokk.hu

I am will look at that possibility.
If you have the name of a good lawyer (with english) around the district ix area I would appreciate it

If you sell the property, the buyer will have a lawyer, so it might be easiest to ask them to send you the POA document, which should be signed by you and your wife. When you get to the embassy, make sure that both you and your wife bring your passports.

I've also sent you a lawyer recommendation privately.
