hi i earn 500e per week less inc levy of 10e and PRSI of 15e. i do not pay any PAYE, why is this. my standard rate band weekly credits are 776.93 and my employer weekly tax credits are 116.16 if those are any help
 
With credits of €116.16 pw you would need to earn in excess of €580.80 to pay tax.
 
is my pay so bad that i should be getting a medical card too!!!!!!i am a single father of two if that helps. thanks for the info time to ask for my raise
 
If your rent or mortgage,childcare and travelling to and from work bills are higher than about €150 a week then yes you probably eligible for a medical card.
 
Hi, just comparing my payslip. I earn 571euro gross per week and am paying 40.65euro PRSI a week, 11.43euro income levy. Does my PRSI look very high compared to rousy53?
 
When the weekly wage passes €500 Health levy becomes payable, 4% on the entire amount. One would probably take home less on a wage of €520 per week than from €500 per week.
