Gone Sale Agreed on a house that was advertised on MyHome.ie as 5 Bed.
Subsequent Surveyor's report says converted attic does not comply with regulations.
I remember when moving into current house, we got a discount of 15k as the solicitor raised it on our behalf i.e. 4 bed which turned out to be actually 3 bed.
Spoke to our solicitor and he says it's up to me to re-negotiate with estate agent.
Is this correct? Eventually will this not come to a head anyway as I assume vendors will need to provide compliance certs.
Am I right here?
Don't want to ring Estate Agent? His stance will be the obvious one?
