Northern Spain outdoor holiday - tips?

Hi
We are planning on going to Northern Spain at the end of August. Planning on doing the following:

Walking, mountain biking in the Picos de Europa
Surfing around Loredo
Wine tours in the Rioja area
Walking in the Pyrenees Ordesa National Park

So far, we are finding it difficult enough to find affordable accommodation - a lot of the places are quite remote and don't seem to have email.

Anyone got any experience / advice for any of the areas above?

Try contacting Lorna Roberts 095.23866 in Ballyconnelly, Connemara who is the Irish agent for `Paradors` - guest houses, often based in castles / homes of distinction - that are owned by the Spanish government. Very reasonable to stay.

That looks good. The Paradors look nice too, but are a bit above budget.
