Northern Irish Building Firm

Someone mentioned that it was possible to hire a Northern Irish building firm for ROI jobs, and that they are currently very competitively priced compared to the ROI counterparts.

I was already aware that the materials were substantially cheaper in NI.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this, and are there any pitfalls involved, I can't think of any given the FOS rules between EU member states.
