I Islander Registered User Messages 1 19 Jul 2016 #1 I returned from Australia recently to get married. My parents want to give me 10k as a gift but are concerned as they know about the 3k threshold. As I am a non-resident (and have been for a decade) - would this gift be liable for taxation? Thanks.
